Here&#39;s a Photoshop BW conversion from a color shot from atop the Empire State Building, NYC.&nbsp; Not a straightforward desaturation of color as many areas required individual level and contrast adjustments to bring out the dynamic of the scene.&nbsp; <br /><br />It was so windy up there I had to jam my lightweight tripod against the&nbsp; wall to keep everything still for the long exposure,

    Very nice, very atmospheric. I get a Sin City/Batman/The Crow sort of feel from that so if you were going for Gotham you got it right on the money.

    Many thanks Hans. The conversion took me a while because I had to adjust the levels and contrast in a number of places. It often pays to get anal.
